FMCG
Fast-moving consumer goods move in large carton volumes. BOPP packaging tapes in light, medium and heavy-duty grades handle carton sealing, and 650 m and 1000 m lengths suit automatic dispensing machines. Printed branding tape puts your logo on every shipper carton. For printed mono cartons, the solvent-based PTK® tissue tapes are listed.
Printing and print finishing
Print finishers use double-sided tissue tape to mount high-end chrome posters and to assemble mono cartons and fancy invitation boxes. The tape tears by hand and stays out of sight. PTK® 700, 800, 900 and 1000 are listed for this work, with PTK® 800 and above adding tags and dome stickers.
Export-oriented businesses
Export cartons travel further and are handled more often. Kraft paper tape is listed for export packing, with strong adhesion and tear resistance for heavy or overfilled cartons, and a tamper-evident seal that has to be ripped open. BOPP “For Export” and “Handle with Care” message tapes mark cartons clearly.
Packaging
For carton sealing, choose plain, printed or coloured BOPP tape in transparent, brown, milky white, red, green, blue, black and more. For paper-based packaging, choose biodegradable and recyclable kraft paper tape. Printed tapes carry logos in up to 5 colours and are often cheaper than stickers.
Manufacturing and product assembly
Premium double-sided tissue tapes PTK® 910, 1200 and 1600 are listed for nameplates, membrane switches, high-end dome labels and chrome labels, and for good adhesion to LSE plastics such as PP and PE. Double-sided polyester tape is listed for rigid extrusions, badges and signage. Surface protection film guards finished surfaces during production and transport.
Construction and interiors
Surface protection film protects surfaces from pollution and scratches during transport and installation, and leaves no glue behind when removed. Kraft paper tape is listed for clean paint lines, protecting surfaces from paint splatter and holding materials in place.
Invitation cards and boxes
Fancy invitation boxes and cards need a thin, clean bond that does not show. All four solvent-based PTK® grades are listed for fancy invitation boxes. If the design adds plastic, metal or fabric embellishments, look at the premium grades.
Label industry
Label converters use PTK® tissue tapes across their range: woven and garment labels, tags and dome stickers on the solvent grades, and high-end dome labels, chrome labels and nameplates on the premium grades. PTK® 910 and 1200 are also listed for polycarbonate stickers.
Leather goods
For leather goods and accessories, the premium PTK® grades are listed for textiles and various plastics, and the catalogue also includes tapes for the shoe and footwear industry. Materials and finishes vary widely, so share your material and process and our team will suggest a tape to trial.
Flexible packaging
Double-sided polyester tape, with a PET backing and modified acrylic adhesive, is listed for splicing thin plastic films. Finished rolls and pouches are then shipped in cartons sealed with BOPP packaging tape.
